CODECS, along with other Horizon Europe projects, is gaining momentum as it enters a productive phase. One notable initiative already in progress is the development of CODECS Living Labs.
In light of these advancements, an online session was organised to introduce CODECS and QuantiFarm to representatives from the European Commission and the European Research Executive Agency. This session aimed to provide EU officials with a better understanding of the initial stages of these projects, as well as foster collaboration, inspiration, and networking opportunities among the project partners.
During the session, Gianluca Brunori, the Coordinator of CODECS from the University of Pisa, and Nikolaos Marianos, the Coordinator of QuantiFarm from GAIA, presented the projects. They emphasised the key similarities between the two initiatives. Following the presentations, a lively round of questions and debates ensued, involving the project partners, coordinators, and representatives from the EU Commission and the REA.
Throughout the duration of CODECS, a plethora of collaborative sessions, workshops, and events are set to be organised, involving not only other Horizon projects but also EU-funded initiatives. The core intention behind these gatherings is to foster a spirit of exchange, collaboration, and inspiration within CODECS. All project partners are fully committed to developing activities that contribute to the widespread dissemination and recognition of CODECS, as well as other related projects.
