Knowledge Accelerator

The Knowledge Accelerator is the key outreach instrument of CODECS. This is a network that will carry out an organised set of activities based on a multi-faceted and transversal approach, and which illustrates an ambition to boost the co-creation of knowledge. The KA organises spaces for stakeholder exchanges and peer-to-peer learning to ‘accelerate’ action through capacity building, to maximise the reach of outcomes of the project to external actors.

The KA will be articulated into

a) a Science-Policy Interface;
b) a Demonstration Working Group;
c) an AKIS network.

Activities will include exchange of information, participation in platforms of relevant projects or initiatives at international and EU level, national initiatives, and H2020 and Horizon Europe projects working on digitalisation of agriculture.

AKIS network

AKIS stands for “Agricultural knowledge and innovation system”. These are set of agents and activities involved in the production of knowledge in digital agriculture.

Demo Farm network

Demo Farms are farm where digital technologies are demonstrated for learning purposes within the network composed of various stakeholders, linked to the Living Labs.

Policy Science Interface

Policy Science interfaces are social processes which encompass relations between scientists and other actors in the policy process, and which allow for exchanges, coevolution, and joint construction of knowledge with the aim of enriching decision-making.
