The CODECS project entered its final phase, and its key results are now ready to be shared with stakeholders and the wider public. One of the project’s major achievements is the CODECS Digital Technologies Inventory, which brings together more than 2,000 digital technologies revelant to the agricultural sector.
The Inventory covers all major agricultural production sectors and allows users to explore digital technologies through nine common application scenarios, including Livestock, Nutrient Management, Pest Management, Water Management, Biodiversity, and several others. This user-oriented approach makes it easier to identify technologies that address specific agricultural challenges.
The technologies included in the Inventory have been carefully selected from some of the most prominent existing digital agriculture inventories. Bringing these valuable resources together in a single platform, CODECS enhances their visibility and long-term usefulness while providing users with one central place to search, compare, and explore a wide range of digital solutions.
This Inventory is primarily designed for farmers, advisors and policy-makers.
- Farmers can discover digital solutions that help address specific challenges on their farms and support the digitalisation of farming operations.
- Advisors can compare available technologies, explore practical use cases, and identify suitable solutions for different farming contexts.
- Policymakers can gain a comprehensive overview of the agricultural digitalisation landscape across Europe, exploring where, how, and why digital technologies are being adopted and the value they create throughout the agricultural value chain.CODECS Digital Technologies Inventory will remain, after the project finish in September 2026, as one of its legacy features for end users, stakeholders and for successor projects to develop further on its foundations.
We invite you to explore the CODECS Digital Technologies Inventory and discover digital solutions that can support your own agricultural challenges and use cases.
